110 - On The Nose
I grabbed some neat video of a blue jay on my feeder this weekend. Nothing special, but I was able to get a nice close-up. I’ll try and get some more nifty footage and post the video. This time of year the birds are all over - I watched my father-in-law feeding bluebirds in his yard. They are beautiful and the males are vibrant this time of year. He feeds them meal worms, and they eat about $3 a day…He’s trying to get them to trust him enough to eat from his hand. Right now they get about 4-5 feet away. I’ll try and tape that and share!

hey, great artwork as usual. i really like the background details - detailed enough but def not overpowering. and i also like the perspective changes between panels. very nice!
but, i hope you don’t mind some constructive criticism, and maybe i can learn a thing or two. the round balls on those guys backs doesn’t look consistent, in regards to shape and perspective, and the location of them on those guys backs.

Thanks Johnny.
Yeah, those balls on their backs tend to float around on me - they are “energy packs” that were attached to the big Glurr Drones. They give the beasts an extra oomph, and can be used to power weapons and such. I’ll try and get more consistent in rendering them…

Make them a Sixpack and they might be easier to draw.
At the right Size they would be quite perfect.
*hope this goes through… Computer’s a bit dodgy on me right now
