43 - The Dangers of Alcohol

Birds (and other animals) do occasionally get inebriated by eating berries that have fermented. Alcohol is for adult humans, since we know how to conduct ourselves responsibly. At all times.

I’ve heard that. Same concept applies if they eat too many pokeweed berries. They have narcotic properties. Also a few other side effects which makes them unsuitable for human consumption.

Yeah, good ol’ responsible humans. I saw a comedian on TV who said that drinks shoud not be named after what you WANT to happen to you, but what will PROBABLY happen to you. No more drinks called “sex on the beach” or “orgasm”, instead you’ll order a “start a fight” or “sideways into the ditch at 70mph”…

    I don’t drink, BTW… had a few, um.. “problems” with the stuff….
