24 - Knock On Wood
What a great pun! Larry is not the only one who can write these things I guess, eh? EH? Anyway, introducing Woodrow the Woodpecker. He is a Piliated woodpecker, which is what the cartoon Woody the Woodpecker was based on. I was never a big fan of Woody cartoons, but since we’re doing a cartoon about birds I thought I would throw him in

“Timbre is the quality of a musical note or sound that distinguishes different types of sound production, such as voices or musical instruments.” - wikipedia. My brothers make guitars and they can pick up a piece of wood, tap on it and be able to tell if the wood is good for a guitar. Steve was playing off of that word along with “timber”, a woodpecker’s grocery store…

Sorry for the inactivity lately, but I have not had a working computer with internet and had to mooch off of other people’s comps. but I am back now with my very own laptop! yay!
Larry, I am sure you can just go through your phone book and find some sort of art show or minor gallery that would love to show your work. I bet you could even sell it for outrageous prices, as art these days seems to sell for.

We dont get wild woodpeckers here in Australia… Even if we did they would probably get high from all the eucalyptus. Or eaten by a Drop Bear.
