"Plus the parent birds work like dogs to feed their constantly-screaming children. As such i feel a certain “connection” with them."

Your children are birds?

We have masses of starlings here. I actually think they are very pretty. They have irridescent feathers that resemble black opal. They are also one of the smartest birds out there as they are closely related to crows and ravens. I also have a thing for underdogs, and as nobody really likes them, I do!

Black Snows(tune to Black Socks)
Black Snows, Black Snows
The Longer you feed them the fatter they get
Something tells me to stop feeding them .
But I say,:Not yet, not yet, not yet..

I have to laugh at that one!
Great Comic!

boidiliciose - I TRY and make Harmon and Nelson distinguishable from each other. Harmon has one "mask spike" around his eye and Nelson has two. Nelson is also more rotund than Harm and has an extra black patch on his chest. Unfortunately trying to distinguish one bird from another out of a flock is tough - that's why they get tagged when studied! Glad you like the comic - and most of us here love Wally and Osborne, too!
