22 - Juncos
This joke works better if you know what Juncos are. They are small (sparrow-sized) dark-grey birds with pink or light colored beaks that we see here only in the winter. They do not get on the feeder perches and eat seed off of the ground. See? Now it’s even funnier!

I’ve silently lurked and kept track of E9M, tsoalr, and Toyzville for months now, and I’m finally getting around to leaving a comment. Ain’t that grand of me?
Quite seriously, you two make an incredible team. You guys have great gags, excellent art with it’s own feel, and you keep plugging away non-stop. Bravo, fellows, bravo.
I’d like to add my own quip to the comment under yesterday’s comic. The guy who pointed out that Boid looks like he’s from another comment does have a point, though part of that seperate appearance is part of the whole shtick, isn’t it. However, it does bring up an important thought: Boid’s beady eyes may not be the best choice. Of course, I’m no artist, so I’m not trying to tell you guys how to do your job. But I have noticed that in general, characters with larger, more complete eyes tend to be the ones people connect to better.
Maybe you’ve already tried that, and it sucks, he looks horrible. I dunno. Just a thought. In any case, I love your work. Thanks.
