Well the Stanley Cup (hockey) playoffs are over and the Anaheim Ducks beat the Ottawa Senators, much to the disappointment of my son and the entire nation of Canada. So here is a cartoon for you, my Canadian friends:

Hehe yup, its a bright and sunny day down here in southern California (at least it was, its almost the middle of the night now).
I’m not much of a hockey fan, but its always nice to see the local team in any sport do well, despite the fact that the Ducks are primarily made up of Canadians. Ironic.
Though not a hockey fan, I am a big fan of your comics, I read TSOALR even when its not updated.

Hey, all. Big TSOALR fan (Twin-linked, fool! shirt is great). I’ve come and gone from hockey over the years, but I’ve been glued to the playoffs this year. The early overtime game Dallas had that went 3 full overtimes brought back memories of the Finals game 7 where the Stars won at like 3AM. That specific game a few years ago got me into hockey, and their game this year renewed my interest in the NHL experience. As a (relatively) new Anaheim fan, I’m pleased with the outcome, of course; but I was really surprised that Ottawa was not more competitive. I thought that the Ducks physical defense would win out in the end, but Ottawa was just dominated.

Hey Steve, maybe you could have a piece or two in Larry’s Art Show! and Hockey rules. I have a lot of friends that watch it. I, unfortuneatly, dont watch it or get the channels to watch it on. It is an awesom sport. I once saw a one-legged-between-the-legs-backwards goal. Only in Hockey, only in Hockey. plus fights too!

Cute strip. Being a Canadian I can say that not all Canadians were behind the Senators. Especially in the Toronto area. Think it would be great if you had your little fellow meet the Ducks. Keep up the great work.
