Cory: What I hope to do IS a story, told in strip form. My favorite comics follow a similar format. Sure the jokes are not always LOL funny, but they exist. Not to say there won't be some cliff-hangers and poignent moments either. But these characters will grow and change as time goes on, so I hope that the story being told behind the jokes is the one people come back for. This is my challenge.

I was complaining to Larry, and he said to post it to the blog. So here it goes. The scenario you describe sounds so perfect for one complete STORY rather than a strip. It's a bit like a classic "fish out of water" story. I'm sure a strip would be enjoyable and funny, but I'm afraid the idea you described above will just be a setup that gets you to the gags. That, I think, would be a mistake. You have a great story idea. Write a story. Pleeeaaase!
