Well here we go… a behind the scenes, as-it-happens “blogumentary” of the making of a webcomic! I’m Larry Merrill and I’ll be collaborating with Steve Campbell on this blog AND on the final product - our webcomic The Boids. Many folks have been dropping in to find out more information on our strip and we decided to let everyone in on the ground floor.

We’ll post about our brainstorming sessions, bad puns, early and developing character designs, website design, script writing and everything else that gets tossed into the grinder. I’m the artist and web guy for The Boids and Steve is the writer, but it’s difficult to separate our duties in such a clean manner. As in most creative partnerships, the lines cross often and we’ll both be stepping on each others shoes and getting into the others business. We ARE professionals - do NOT try this at home…
